CONGRATULATIONS
VIRTUA TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009
CHIPS Stafford has its very own tennis champion – Dan Rigby.
Dan, took on all-comers at the St Mary’s Gate store, to scoop the Virtua Tennis Championship 2009 trophy.

The store was packed from 1pm when the championship began and as you can see from the pictures a great time was had by all.
It was just like Wimbledon when franchisee Susan Lake laid on strawberries and cream to keep the players and vistors refreshed.
Dan beat 15 contestants to win the trophy, Virtua Tennis, a t-shirt and cap.
Runner up was Chris Scott who won a £5 gift voucher, t-shirt and cap.
All contestants won key ring or neck chains.
SEGA RALLY
The Sega Rally Competition at CHIPS Stafford proved a great hit.
The competition to record the fastest time over three laps ran for 10 days. “People were coming in every day to check out the latest scores and have another go,” said franchisee Susan Lake.
Paul Clarke, of Stafford, recoreded the fastest time of 3.22.45, which scooped him the top proze. Paul chose Call of Duty 4 as his prize.
CRAZY BONES
Young Jenna Stark, six, and Joe Taylor, 11, beat allcomers in CHIPS Stafford’s Crazy Bones Compeption at Easter. The duo both woin an Easter Egg, A T-Shirt and a collection of Crazy Bones goodies.
WONDERLAND
Well done to Sarah Boroughs, aged 10, who scooped Wonderland on the Wii in the CHIPS Magazine competition. Sarah, of Stafford, was delighted to pop into the store to be presented with her prize.
STAFFORD STREET FIGHTER COMP
Street Fighter IV proved a massive hit at CHIPS Stafford.
As you can see from our great pictures, the Street Fighter IV Knockout Competition proved a big draw at the St Mary’s Gate store.
Competition to make it onto the play list was tough, but eventually 16 lucky hopefuls battled it out for the top title.
Each competitor scooped a Microsoft T-shirt and neck tag, but it was Charles Scott who beat all-comers to carry off the CHIPS SF IV trophy and the game. Gregg Duvall was runner-up and he won a CHIPS voucher to spend in-store.
CHIPS franchisee Susan Lake, who dreamed up the event, said: “We had a great afternoon. Everyone really entered into the spirit of the game. There were some tense moments but as you can see from the pictures, it was good fun too.
